Community Service
The Jackson Clinics seeks to build lasting relationships within the Northern Virginia/DC area. We give our time to educate our communities about injury prevention and management. We provide free on-site physical screenings in our public and private schools to screen for potential problems in our children. We promote wellness in our communities in a variety of ways. We participate in local health fairs, walks, runs and other types of events such as The Nations Triathlon that benefit health and fitness awareness.
We are a proud supporter of Wolf Trap bringing the best of performing arts to our region. We give to and work with organizations providing low cost housing, educational resources and safety in our home towns.
Finally, we actively support the Pediatric AIDS/HIV Care an organization in DC helping children and families infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.
Each winter we run our Warm Hearts, Warm Hands program. This provides an opportunity for both our team members and our patients to donate used or new gloves, mitts, hats, scarves and socks for those in need. These donations are delivered directly to shelters that are in the communities we serve. To participate or become a benefactor of this drive please contact ajackson@thejacksonclinics.com.
At The Jackson Clinics we are passionate about our profession, one that helps others. We know people hurt and we know that we have the education and tools to help. We also know there are many who have needs and are without the means, leaving them under served. In an answer to this, coming in 2010, The Jackson Clinics will provide FREE physical therapy services at one of our locations twice a month. This service will be for those who are without insurance and cannot afford the therapy they need. Please check back for further details, including the opening date and location.
