I am so much better.

I have been treated for Rotator Cuff injury at the Fairfax clinic. When I first began my treatment, I had limited mobility and was in pain. Thanks to the skills of Kris Porter, I am so much better, no longer in pain and have good mobility. There were times I would get discouraged, but Kris would always give me hope. I have been very fortunate to have Kris as my physical therapist.

I have just completed an 8-week regimen of physical therapy at your Lorton clinic for arthroscopic meniscus repair. I want to take this opportunity to commend the highly professional and productive treatment I have received by Dr. Matthew Harwood, and Tony Saputo, PTA. I have made a steady and successful recovery from my surgery, which I believe is due in large part to the exceptional therapy and exercise program I have undergone at Lorton. I found Matt and Tony not only to be thorough and challenging in their approach, but personally engaging and delightful to know. Yvette at the front desk was always pleasant and accommodating in managing my appointment schedule. My experience has been most positive and the results rewarding.

It is important to me to make my observations a matter of record to you, and to extend in this formal way my genuine appreciation for the excellent standard of service I have received a The Jackson Clinics, Lorton.

Great Care Received

I just wanted to write and express my gratitude for the great care I received from Kimberly Rogers, PT and Kimberly Gray, ATC. Both ladies were very warm, helpful and professional in their care and treatment plans and showed interest in me as a patient. I appreciate their help in working with me to adapt a treatment plan that lessoned the back pain that I have been experiencing due to pregnancy and active twin boys. If I have any future problems I would certainly come back to these two ladies or recommend them to others. Thank you.

I Learned So Much

This is to thank The Jackson Clinics, but most particularly, Dan Chalk at your Fairfax location, for the splendid help provided me and my knee. I went in during the winter, limping, and came out in May, walking normally. Along the way, Dan gave me so much good information, about things to go towards, things to avoid, helps and hinderances with arthritis.Perhaps the most important thing he told me, and something to which I was becoming aware on my own, is that as we age, we should devote two to three hours a day to health. This is a very important piece of information.

I learned so much from Dan, as well as receiving wonderful care from an experienced therapist.

I have already sent a friend to your clinic.

I Can’t Thank Your Staff Enough

My shoulder/hand/pelvis are doing fairly well, although I need to find hours in the day to build time for a consistent workout schedule. I used the pool quite a bit when in California, but upon my return, I have not been disciplined enough (really, at all). Had a football catch on Sunday (in the parking lot in Philadelphia between the Eagles/Giants game and the Phillies/Yankees game) and feel quite achy today 2 days later since I haven’t thrown a ball that far for some time. I have not been back on the bike quite yet, and am not sure if I will do the outdoor biking until the Spring. We will see.

I truly cannot thank you and the entire Jackson Clinics staff enough for your help this past summer. Your help and your energy and support was critical to my recovery. I always enjoyed coming to PT and saw opportunity to improve with each visit. The collaborative approach that you and your colleagues use was great, too, as I felt that I gained from the collective knowledge and expertise of your entire team.

It has been a long road to recovery. And there’s more to be done, simply from a conditioning and exercise standpoint. I am apologetic that I have not made the time to do this in person, but would be quite remiss if I let any more time go by without extending a greeting and my appreciation.

Please share my message with everyone, and please extend my special regards to Cathy and Ken and Ben and Amanda and the rest of the crew.

Skeptical at First

“I was referred to the Jackson clinic by my chiropractor. I was a little skeptical at first because I have seen physical therapists in the past for my back problem.
I didn’t feel any better. Until now! Along with the exercises and stretch moves I was shown I feel confident that my back pain has been reduced to 95% pain free, it still get a little stiff at time but it tolerable. The staff was very helpful. Karen and Debbie greeted me with cheerful faces every sessions and that relaxed me. The physical therapist: Greg, especially; Bryant and Jason was very experience in their field. Even though, they were supervising 2 to 3 clients at one time I still received the care I needed. So, my hat off to the staff at the JACKSON CLINIC on Donegan Drive in Manassas, Va. I would highly recommend the above clinic. Thanks a million.”

“I would like to thank your Herndon Office for the great job they did regarding neck pain I was experiencing. Previously, they had also done an outstanding job with some upper leg pain I was having. Nothing serious mind you, but what I called a “nagging discomfort”. I have been physically active all my life and quite athletic. I have always exercised, be init walking and/or running as well as stretching and routine weight lifting. When my primary care physician suggested Physical Therapy as treatment for some of this “nagging discomfort”, I kind of shrugged. I had no strong opinion about it one way or the other, but figured, “Hey, it would not hurt to give it a shot”, so I signed up. Well, after the superb treatment provided by Purvi and Tiffany, and on occasion, Julia, I have become a true believer in the benefits of Physical Therapy. It was as if they had some magical technique, or approach that over the course of my treatment made the “nagging discomfort” disappear@ It was truly amazing and as I said, I am now a believer! Above and beyond that, the entire office is professional and friendly. Quite frankly, I was kind of sad to see my treatment come to an end as I really enjoyed the visits. Keep up the good work!”

Wonderful Experience

“First, I want you to know that my wife has had the same wonderful experience with Dan Chalk that I had working with Ken Herbel last summer. She had a total knee replacement in August and went through her PT in record time thanks to the fact that she was walking 3 miles a day prior to her surgery. Matter of fact she was just gotten back to her pre-surgery distance in the last week.”

Best Decision I Made

“On January 24 I received a surgical knee replacement. The two best decisions I made were the selections of the surgeon and the physical therapy treatment at the Old Town Jackson Clinic. And you have made the best decision in staffing the Clinic with Gavin Cribb, DPT. He is a truly caring profession al therapist. I attribute my rapid recovery progress to his encouragement, patience and techniques. Gavin is a credit to your staff!
