Education: Laura graduated from Duke University where she obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She also majored in Exercise Science at Samford University. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and Board Certified Direct Access Provider. She is a 2010 resident in The Jackson Clinics Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program, pursuing a Board Certifcation as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.
Specialties: Laura is comfortable treating a variety of pathologies including musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction as well as neurological disorders including stroke and Parkinson’s disease. She has a strong interest in vestibular rehab and recently completed a vestibular rehabilitation competency based course. She also has interest in helping patients develop fitness programs for weight loss and improved fitness in conjunction with rehab.
Fun Facts: Laura is a former Division I College track and field athlete. She loves to play sports, bike, hike, and explore the outdoors. Her favorite flavor of ice cream is homemade peanut butter, banana, and chocolate!
