Laura Malnati PT, DPT, OCS

Physical Therapist

Education: Laura graduated from Duke University where she obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She also majored in Exercise Science at Samford University. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and Board Certified Direct Access Provider. She is a graduate of the 2010 Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program at The Jackson Clinics, and is pursuing a Board Certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.

Specialties: Laura enjoys treating patients with a variety of pathologies including musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction as well as those with some neurological impairments. She has a strong interest in vestibular rehab and has conducted extensive continuing education in this area. She also has a strong interest in helping patients develop fitness programs for weight loss and improved health and well-being in conjunction with rehab.

Fun Facts: Laura is a former Division I College track and field athlete.  She loves to play sports, bike, hike, and explore the outdoors. Laura believes in the importance of nutrition and a healthy, natural diet, and her favorite treat is homemade smoothies!
