The Jackson Clinics, LP is a locally owned physical therapy practice in multiple locations throughout Northern Virginia. We specialize in outpatient orthopedics and sports rehabilitation. Our therapists and assistants possess advanced clinical skills in spinal disorders, sacroiliac joint dysfunction and peripheral joint problems, including rotator cuff injuries, knee injuries and foot and ankle pain.

The Jackson Clinics: Clinical Path to Excellence in Practice
This is a multi level path consisting of mentorship, continuing education/independent study, evidence based & objective. You enter the clinical pathway as a staff therapist and can progress to a clinical instructor, resident, clinical specialist 1, 2, 3, a fellow or a company instructor.
Credentialed Orthopedic Residency Program
Those who join this challenging path will accelerate three years of clinical growth into two.

These can include program assistant, program director, clinic director in training or clinic director (four levels). We realize that everyone is an individual so we offer a variety of pathways to personal success. At The Jackson Clinics we strive for excellence in all aspects of our clinical care. In keeping with that standard we are committed to providing our staff a rich benefit program that assists in their health, happiness and security.
Medical Insurance
We provide three options from Anthem/BlueCross Blue Shield including a Health Maintenance Option (HMO), Preferred Provider Option (PPO) or Health Savings Account (HSA) package. Each member is presented with the details of these options and given the opportunity to choose which plan best suits their needs.
Dental Insurance
MetLife Dental provides an array of coverage with lots of flexibility. There are no deductibles or fees for preventative exams, cleaning and x-rays. A generous yearly allowance is given for other types of work and an additional allowance is given for orthodontics.
Flexible Benefits Program
Our flexible benefit plan features strong tax advantages, including Health Care Expense accounts and Dependent Care Reimbursement.
Life Insurance
The Jackson Clinics provides a basic life insurance plan for each of its team members. 100% of this basic plan is covered by the Jackson Clinics. Additional life insurance may be purchased at a favorable rate thru the Jackson Clinics insurance provider.
Long Term & Short Term Disability
We provide a long term & short term disability policy for each of our team members. Additional disability insurance may be purchased at a favorable rate through the Jackson Clinics insurance provider.
401(k) Plan
Our 401(k) is offered through John Hancock. A variety of investment options are available through this plan.
Vacation/Holidays
Full time team members receive 14 paid days of vacation (17 after the first year) and 6 paid holidays per year. Vacation increases incrementally with longevity with the company.
Professional Affiliations
The Jackson Clinics helps pay membership dues for NATABOC and other professional affiliations as deemed necessary for maintaining activity in the various professional organization of our business. We also pay 50% of OCS examination fees and up to $3,000 for therapists seeking a transitional DPT.

Continuing Education
The Jackson Clinics furnishes between 24 and 30 days of in-house continuing education each year covering every area of the human machine. We understand that our therapists may have interest in specializing in areas not covered in our offerings. In such a case additional continuing education can be applied for and if appropriate will be approved.
Clinical Management
For team members that desire a Clinic Director or Team Lead position, we provide leadership training to help prepare for future management at TJC.
The Jackson Clinics Interview Process
The interview process may vary depending on the position you are applying for. See below for an example of what you can expect:
- Stage 1: Once we receive your initial inquiry, we will contact you and set up a time to have a phone conversation. In this conversation we will answer any initial questions you may have. We will also ask you a few questions to find out about the types of patients you prefer, your clinical and learning interests and which location is most desirable for you.
- Stage 2: In this stage, we will meet with you for a formal interview. You will learn about The Jackson Clinics business and operations philosophy. This is to insure that you have a complete understanding of our expectations from you. We will ask you questions to learn about your wants and needs to ensure we have a clear understanding of your expectations from us. This interview will also include a full review of our benefits, pay structure, bonuses, and a discussion about potential start dates.
- Stage 3: This portion of the interview process allows you to interview with the clinic directors at the sites you are considering. This provides you the opportunity to get a look and feel for a clinic prior to making a decision. We encourage you to visit with the staff and shadow our team members. See the clinic in action and please feel free to ask more specific questions of any of our team members.
- Final Stage: We hope that at this point you have all the information needed to make a decision about joining The Jackson Clinics. We know that choosing an employer is a very important decision. Although the interview process is complete, we remain available to answer any questions you may have in the following days.

Accelerate your professional growth through residency level education. A few of The Jackson Clinics Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Classes are now open to the public!
Our mission is to help improve the standard of clinical practice within our company and our region for better delivery of consistent, high quality physical therapy care to our community.
Those who register for any of our courses will get a hard copy of the didactic information that will serve as the basis for the course. They will be expected to study it thoroughly, as the courses will focus on synthesis, application and integration of concepts.
Outside Registration: One month prior to the course registration will be open to therapists outside of The Jackson Clinics. Outside registration will be limited. If you are interested in one of our courses we strongly advise that you get your name on our waiting list early.
