Richard Jackson, PT, OCS
Executive Director of Clinical Services
Education: Richard Jackson, PT, OCS: Richard has practiced physical therapy for over 38 years. He graduated in 1971 from Ithaca College/Albert Einstein College of Medicine with a Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy. He received an honorary Doctor of Science degree from Shenandoah University in 2000. Mr. Jackson is highly regarded as a clinician, educator, and researcher.
Specialties: Mr. Jackson has taught nationally and internationally in the field of lower extremity bio-mechanics, gait, spinal and pelvic joint dysfunction. He has presented his research in conferences in England, Australia, Austria, Canada, India, and of course, the United States. “Clinical research is essential if we are to understand what works and what does not” says Jackson.
In the past twenty five years Mr. Jackson has taught over 400 continuing education courses. About his teaching he states, “I can be most effective as a clinician by teaching therapists how to treat their patients better. I touch thousands of patients every day through the therapists who have taken my courses. I am personally involved in the training programs for our therapists, assistants, athletic trainers and exercise specialists. Comprehensive education and training is how we achieve our goals of quality and consistency.”
Fun Facts: After running 19 marathons with six trips to Boston, Richard has switched focus to golf. Some would say, (including his wife), that it is becoming an obsession. He loves to dance, enjoys country music, skeet shooting, and has never met an ice cream that he didn’t like. His overriding obsession is travel, (“I don’t care where I’m going as long as I’m making good time”).
Anna Jackson,
Executive Director of Administration/Human Resources/IT
Anna Jackson has worked over 30 years as an Administrator, and Entrepreneur. Raised in Southern California she had an early introduction to animation which turned to a concentration in computer systems development and design. Her interest in animation production waned in college, but the creative skill set followed her into the business world.
Anna oversees the marketing, human resource, and information technology aspects of The Jackson Clinics (TJC). In her time with the company she has to lead the implementation of a fully integrated electronic medical record (EMR) system, introduced and revamped the internal communication network, and directed award-winning ad campaigns.
Anna studied at the University of California Los Angeles. Her career has provided her the good fortune of working for or in association with companies such as Disney, Nordstrom and Merisel (now known as Coloredge). She possesses experience in graphic design, marketing, systems design, manufacturing, distribution, human resources, and software development and training. Just prior to The Jackson Clinics, she worked as a marketing director and small business consultant.
“In a nutshell, my job is to care for the needs of our team members. To ensure they have the right tools and systems in place, so they can do the most important job…caring for our patients”
Anna picked up the game of golf about 8 years ago and enjoys a pretty day on course with her husband. She has three great kids who are very tolerant of her work ethic. A self-confessed software addict, she gets a kick out of updates and new tools that make administrative systems more efficient and creative ideas easier to develop. Good food, books, and world travel keep her interests. Just before Covid, she joined the Peloton family. She enjoys many of the instructors, but some of her favs are Cody, Tunde, Robin, Emma Lovewell, and Ally Love. Favorite candy bar – Snickers.
