Kyler Dennis , Clinic Director
Kyler Dennis , PTA
Education: Kyler graduated from Northern Virginia Community College with his Applied Associates of Science in Physical Therapist Assistant in May 2024.
Specialties: Kyler has experience in treating a wide range of patients from pediatrics to geriatrics. As a former Marine Corps Infantry Rifleman, Kyler has a strong interest in working with first responders and military personnel. He also has experience working with patients with vestibular pathologies, pelvic floor, hypermobility, TMJ, pre/post op, and professional sports injuries.
Fun Facts: A fun fact about Kyler is he is originally from Washington State but while stationed at Camp Pendleton he met his wife and followed her to the northern Virginia area. He enjoys listening to country music, hiking, and spending time with his son.
Dr. Bradley Owaka, Physical Therapist
Dr. Bradley Owaka, PT, DPT
Education: Bradley graduated from Boston University with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in May 2025. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology. Bradley has been a member of the APTA since 2024.
Specialties: Bradley has a strong interest and background in working with athletes of various ages and abilities. With a background in strength and conditioning and being a lifelong athlete, Bradley demonstrates a passion to share the importance of foundational movement principles for all athletes to optimize their athletic performance. Bradley also played a key role in developing and implementing an adaptive sports gymnastics early intervention program for toddlers at the Franciscan Children’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. His work in this project was instrumental in providing tailored support and opportunities for young children with neurological or physical disabilities.
Fun Facts: Originally from Nairobi, Kenya Bradley is an all-around sports enthusiast. He is a die-hard Baltimore Ravens, Los Angeles Lakers, and Harambee stars fan. Bradley enjoys creative arts including painting, drawing, listening to and producing music. In his free time, Bradley enjoys spending time with animals, watching sports, working out, spending time with family and always looking for a new way to compete!
Dr. Heather Ross , Physical Therapist
Dr. Heather Ross , PT, DPT
Education: Heather graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in December 2023. She completed her undergraduate work at the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Rehabilitation Science degree. She has been an APTA member since 2022.
Specialties: Heather has a strong interest in orthopedic injuries, post operative rehabilitation, and the effect of social determinants of health on rehabilitation. She is passionate about helping people return to their favorite pastimes and reducing risk of falls in the older population.
Fun Facts: Heather is a distance runner and enjoys exploring running trails in her free time.

Dante Williams
Education: I graduated from Howard University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine. I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology at Grand Canyon University, where I continue to expand my knowledge in human performance, strength and conditioning, and applied sport science. My academic background provides a strong foundation in injury prevention, rehabilitation principles, and performance optimization.
Specialties: I have a strong interest in endurance performance, sport-specific conditioning, and long-term athlete development. As a former Division I swimmer and current competitive triathlete, I understands firsthand the discipline and structure required to perform at a high level. I specializes in swim coaching, stroke technique refinement, and building structured, evidence-based training programs that enhance performance while minimizing injury risk. My combined background in sports medicine and exercise physiology allows me to effectively bridge the gap between rehabilitation and peak performance.
Fun Facts: I am a former D1 swimmer who now competes in triathlons, challenging myself across swimming, cycling, and running. Outside of sport and coaching, I am also a professional wedding DJ, bringing energy and excitement to celebrations and special events.
Mariana Gutierrez, Exercise Specialist
Mariana Gutierrez
Education: Mariana graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. She is a dedicated student of the profession and is currently preparing to pursue her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Mariana is also a certified member of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
Specialties: Mariana is an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-EP) with a strong background in exercise science and human anatomy. Unlike many in the field, she brings over four years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic and rehabilitation settings to her role. This experience allows her to expertly guide patients through therapeutic exercise programs designed to restore function and prevent re-injury. She specializes in designing individualized exercise prescriptions and has a deep interest in the physiology of recovery. Mariana is passionate about patient education and uses her background to help patients understand the \”why\” behind their movement plans.
Fun Facts: Mariana is originally from Colombia and brings a warm, multicultural perspective to the clinic. She is an avid volleyball enthusiast and loves staying active through sports. In her free time, Mariana enjoys traveling to new destinations and exploring different cultures through their food; she loves cooking and trying new recipes.
