AEW Television Debut

The Jackson Clinics Will Play Key Role at
AEW’s Washington DC Event

Fairfax, VA. (October 1, 2019) – Virginia and Maryland-based Jackson Clinics Physical Therapy is providing athletic services and physical therapy for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) at their AEW-Wednesday Night Dynamite television debut. The show will broadcast live from the Capital One Arena on TNT at 8pm EST.

AEW features a world-class roster of diverse male and female wrestlers, giving fans a new wrestling experience for the first time in 20 years. Founded by President and CEO Tony Khan, AEW is headlined by Cody & Brandi Rhodes, The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson), Kenny Omega, Hangman Adam Page, Chris Jericho and Jon Moxley. The roster is also filled with incredibly skilled competitors including Nyla Rose, Awesome Kong, Dustin Rhodes, Jungle Boy, Dr. Britt Baker, MJF and SCU.

The Jackson Clinics will be helping to prepare the wrestlers for their matches through a variety of activities including manual therapy, stretching and taping. Post-match treatment will include manual therapy, Kinesio taping, splinting, dry needling and wound care. The therapists and trainers will also work closely with Dr. Michael Sampson, AEW’s chief physician. Dr. Sampson has worked with professional wrestlers, Olympians and college athletes for the past 24 years.

“It is a great honor to work with athletes of this caliber and help them perform at the highest level,” said Ben Keeton, PT, DPT, MBA, OCS and Director of Clinical Operations. “The demands these athletes put on their bodies require expert care to both prevent and recover from injuries. It is exciting to collaborate with Dr. Sampson and the rest of the team to deliver that.”

Kim Valva, Director of Operations and Business Development from PTandME.com, helped to bring The Jackson Clinics and AEW together for the Washington, DC event. Valva stated: “When I saw the partnerships and the culture that AEW was looking to create, I knew that The Jackson Clinics would be a natural fit. As a lifelong wrestling fan, it was a win for everyone to bring together world-class physical therapy and world-class wrestling.”
